Description: The client was looking to expand and re-locate their HQ/Branch to a high-profile retail location that would support their growth goals and present the image they envision to their current and prospective members. We were able to do that in a high-traffic location close to the heart of Southgate’s Market Center park. The site was 3.22 acres and would not only accommodate current needs but also the future expansion of an additional 10,000 sq. ft. Unfortunately, the former owner had buried a lot of debris which created some issues for us but we were able to work through them.
The building that we designed will provide plenty of future growth opportunities and presents an image that will solidify the credit unions’ base market and position them to grow and expand. The client loves the connection between the tree that we provided and their branding and marketing activities. Despite opening during a pandemic, the building is performing well and meeting all expectations.
