Description: The client was looking to replace an existing lease branch that was poorly located within a good market. We had previously conducted a study comparing the various markets and then utilized that information to select a location not far from their existing branch. Community West’s new site now has excellent retail traffic drivers, access and traffic counts that will set them up for success. The site had some known environmental and geotechnical issues upon purchase, but we were able to devise a plan to solve those issues in a cost effective manner.
Community West Credit Union (CWCU) wanted a unique retail look and feel that would serve as a prototype design for future branches while also standing out in a highly competitive Grand Rapids market. Frank McFadden and his team were able to incorporate dialog stations, a unique education center and a number of branding and layout components to get the job done. The client was very happy with the results and expects an increase in business at the new location.
