Description:  The client was looking to expand their branch network and had a very large charter (Oakland and Macomb county) to choose from.  We helped them analyze a number of markets at a high level, choose a particular market (Troy) and then focus on the important variables that would affect the performance of the branch and led to the site we recommended.  We provided due diligence on the site including associated surveys, title work, environmental and geotechnical evaluations, and helped them negotiate a price that would support their goals.

The site design created by my retail design partner, Frank McFadden, truly sets the building apart from the surrounding retail buildings  The branch is angled, which allowed them to get three signs on the building instead of just one.  Frank and his team looked at every aspect of the building and how it would be viewed from the road and navigated on-site.  

We created a new prototype design and layout that OUR CU will be able to use as a basis for future branches and that incorporated site adapted versions of merchandising, graphics and finishes from previous renovation projects.  This allowed them to tie all of their branches together and continue to build on the brand we originally designed on their Washington Road and HQ branches.
