As founder and Principal of The Case Group (TCG), Doug Clark started the company to provide a higher quality, time efficient and cost effective development and construction solution to the financial and medical markets.

We have accomplished this by utilizing a Team Build delivery system that Doug learned while working on custom application development projects in the I.T. industry and construction projects over a 25 year career. Doug is a graduate of Michigan State university and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Arts.

After our first few projects it became apparent that clients needed help in other key areas that affected the performance of their retail facilities. Over the last six years, TCG has formed many key partnerships to enhance its 24+ years of project experience.

Keith Rogers, our strategic site study and development partner has been helping retailers find the best locations for their facilities since 1984. Keith is a graduate of the University of Michigan and has an undergraduate degree in Economics and a minor in Mathematics/Engineering. He has been a member of the ICSC since 1990, an associate member of the Urban Land Institute since 1995, and a past member of the SIOR. Keith brings a unique combination of analytics, proven search processes and experience to our team. He has worked in the Michigan market since 1984 and in the last three years expanded into markets all over the U.S. High profile clients include: J Alexander’s, PF Changs, Champps, Bravo, Cameron Mitchell and Ruby Tuesday. TCG has already introduced Keith to many of our financial, health care and higher education clients.

As the senior member of our team, Frank McFadden, brings a tremendous amount of retail design experience and knowledge to our offerings.   Frank started in the industry designing ATM’s for NCR Corporation and over the course of a 19 year career became their Director of Design Centers located in Dayton, OH, San Diego, CA and Scotland.   Towards the end of his time with NCR he designed the environments that the ATM’s would go into which led to his move to a world renown retail design firm, Design Forum.  It was at Design Forum that Frank took a leadership role in the development of Washington Mutual’s project “Occasio”, which has transformed consumer perceptions about retail banking.   Encouraging clients to “think beyond the box” and “leverage other retail successes”, have been key strategies in programs under his guidance. Frank has a BA (honors) in Industrial design from the Glasgow School of Art, Scotland.   He is a member of IDSA, Winner, BusinessWeek/IDSA, Gold Industrial Design Excellence Award and has numerous patents.

Gary Perelli is our construction partner and has over 24 years of experience in all types of commercial building.   He is one of the best conceptual estimators I know and is an expert in budgets, value engineering, scheduling, sub-contractor interviews, conferences and negotiations.   Gary has gained his experience by working for organizations like Anthony S. Brown Development Company and Limbach Company.   Gary completed his Master of Business Administration from Wayne State University in December, 1989, a B.S. in Business Administration from Ferris State University in November 1983, A.A.S. – Accounting in May 1983 and A.A.S. – refrigeration heating and Cooling in May 1983.

Chuck Voydanoff provides our retail manufacturing capabilities and like the rest of our team has 23+ years of experience in this important component of our solution.  Chuck’s team utilizes a Team Build process similar to our construction process by providing early estimates on concepts that Frank McFadden creates.   His team is also instrumental in making value engineering recommendations on all aspects of signage and graphics that is provided by TCG.   As our clients know, it is great to have interesting designs but only if they can be manufactured in a cost effective manner and in the time frames we need them.
